We did a lot of fun things this fall
First was a drive up through the alpine loop
We went at the perfect time. It was so beautiful and the trees were still full of leaves
I really wanted a picture of Luca laying in a pile of leaves
so we kept an eye out all day
we finally found a perfect spot...
in a parking lot, at the bottom of the canyon , where ryan gathered leaves into a pile
They were wet..
But totally worth the picture!
I love this sweet boy!
Next up was Hee Haw Farms for some fun activities for the kids!
Luca and I were so excited when Jill and Karrissa invited us out on their adventure
We were getting really sick of sitting at home or wasting time wandering through stores
so this was a perfect outing!
Funny story..
When walking through the parking lot when we first got there a bee thought it would try to attack me
or that's how I felt anyway..
so I quickly went running and ditched the stroller.
which quickly tipped backwards.
I tried to catch it in the front with my foot
and luckily Jill (or maybe it was Karrissa?) caught it
and even more lucky.. my baby's car seat didn't fall out of the stroller
and therefore, neither did he.
He also stayed asleep. Phew!
I realized maybe I better protect my baby from the bee next time.
There were seriously a million there!
It was also a million degrees.
I thought.. oh fall.. perfect.. jacket and boots..
Bad plan.. really bad plan!
At least I had a tank top underneath.

baby piggies! They were soo cute! |
Our next adventure was to the Witches Festival at Gardner Village
We went on a Saturday.. and it was totally packed
But it was fun and cute all decorated!
Plus.. I got to go into my favorite fabric store Pine Needles
and lots of other fun little shops
we tried on a few cute hats on Luca!
I love him in little hats.. he HATES them, although, he didn't mind these ones in the pictures.
We had a good time with family!
Then we thought we better get a pumpkin
and I wanted to go to an actual patch rather than just to the store
I had never gone to a patch before and I thought it would be fun!
We found this cute place called Jakers
They had a mini version of the stuff that we found at Hee Haw farms
and a little zoo thing. complete with a kangaroo!
and a ginormous pig!
and the best part... all the activities were free!
It was a fun day.. and once again, I dressed for fall. and it apparently wasn't here yet.
As a matter of fact.. It is December 2.. and I just looked at the weather for the week.. and it is in the 50s all week.. I'm pretty sure that's fall weather. I'm not sure what's going on.
But I'm not complaining!
Then that night we carved pumpkins!
My cute cousin McKenna got to play for state championship in soccer at the REAL stadium
so, of course, we had to go watch!!
I was so excited for her that her and her team made it that far..
and then.. they won state!!
I'm not big into sports..
but when I am watching someone I know I get quite a bit more into it
especially when something as big as the title of state is on the line!
It got a little intense at some points and it was so fun to be able to watch her!
I am so proud of her and excited that she was able to have this fun experience
the first time Cedar Women's soccer has taken state.... I think! that's pretty amazing!
Then that night was my friend Maren's bachelorette party!
It was a pole dancing class
and I was totally nervous at first
I even said there was no way I was participating
but.. I'm glad I wasn't a party pooper and that I decided to try it out
It was hilarious and we had so much fun!
Not to mention.. it was an amazing work out
It literally worked out every part of my body
My arms, legs, stomach, and back all hurt for the next week!
PS.. I'm pretty sure tall girls have a more difficult time with pole dancing..
I felt like the longest string bean ever!
And I'm so grateful these pictures are the only footage from that night.
