Cedar City Trips

We've taken three different trips to Cedar City in the last little while

///TRIP ONE///

 Ryan, Luca, and I headed down just to visit

It was a fun relaxing trip full of lots and lots of eating! 

One of my very favorite things about going back to Cedar is going to all my fav places to eat

It's what all other plans revolve around

Brads.. gotta get in my popcorn chicken-bacon burger with sauce only-taquitos with cheese-fries- medium vanilla coke fix. 

I panic when I know I'll only be able to go there one day

because I am never sure what I will order!! 

Market grill, of course!! mmmm.. breaded chicken!! breakfast!! mmmm!!!

Luca never falls asleep for me without bouncing him tirelessly..
but Ryan can simply just hold him, while sitting down, and he will fall asleep!

///TRIP TWO///

This was just a quick little trip.. 

Luca and I went Saturday morning and came back Sunday morning

It was Ashley's baby shower and we didn't want to miss it!!

I'm so glad we were able to go!

Although, we did almost miss it.. 

I'm not very good at remembering things these days

I thought it was at 6pm.. on Saturday morning I decided to look at the invitation

It was at 1:00!!!!

I had to really hustle and get us all packed and ready and in the car

we were only 15 minutes late

phew!!! 

I don't know how we forgot.. but we didn't get any pictures with our cute pregnant Ash at her shower!

We are so excited for her little girl to get here!

We are loving all these baby cousins and friends we are getting!! Woohoo!

This is the little bed I take when we travel for him to sleep in
But I felt bad.. he seemed to big for it.. his little legs looked so bunched and uncomfy!!
Luckily I had a king size bed to sleep in so I could make a little bed for him in it too!!

On our way home!
He was soo good on the way down. We made it passed Beaver before we had to stop
On the way back he wasn't as happy. We barely made it passed Beaver and had to stop !!
and he wasn't hungry, or poopy, or anything..
just wanted momma snuggles
which we didn't figure out til about 40 minutes later..
But it worked out! 

Back in his seat! and Sophie made him happy for a minute! :)

Stop number two! Almost to Nephi-- time to eat!

Finally back home!! Sound asleep!

 ///TRIP THREE///

My step brother Corbin and his cute girlfriend of forever, Erin, finally got married!!

So we headed down for the occasion

and decided to make a real weekend out of it

Ryan wasn't able to come because he had school and work :( bummer

So April and I packed up the kids and headed down on Thursday.

The car was packed really full! 

April had all her LulaRoe stuff for her party on Monday!

The Kiddies all fell asleep!! -- WIN!!--

A stop in Beaver at McDonald's for the kids to run and Luca to eat

Ryan texted me to ask what my food plans were..
Well it just so happened we were at Top Spot getting some food!
Our mom asked if we wanted spaghetti..
April and I looked at each other and said nah.. we just want to eat out for every  meal :)
hahah I love that we were thinkin on the same page!

 

 That little bed in the trip two post got the boot this trip

I put him to sleep in it one night and went downstairs

all the sudden there was the loudest screaming

and he sounded so terrified!!

I ran up the stairs so fast

and opened the door to find him turned over face down and almost completely scooted out of it

if it makes sense.. his face was down where his bum should be and facing into the fabric

and his little legs were dangling off the end

It scared me to death!!!

If he had been there much longer he could have suffocated

or fallen out of it

I'm so glad I heard him and got up there quickly!!

Needless to say, he won't ever be sleeping in that thing again!

I was sleeping in the queen bed this time and it scared me to have him in that bed with me 

it didn't seem like enough room..

So April helped me set up a bed on the floor..

it was a comforter folded up so it was cozy!

He was there with one of his friends who is good friends with Corbin and Erin.

and this is what happened!! hah oops!

he didn't want to go to sleep! So he got to come snuggle mom and watch big brother! 

I finally got my hair done!
I figured out that it has been 2 years now that I have had ombre hair
and I haven't had my hair cut or colored since last Thanksgiving
so.. it was time for a change! and I love it
