This year we went to Cedar for Thanksgiving.
April and her family were there too
and it was so fun to be all together
Although, we are quickly outgrowing my parents house.
We went down on Wednesday night after Ry got done with school
and we stayed until Saturday.
I loved that my mom had the Christmas tree up and the lights on the house
I love Christmas time..
It's just so magical
Oh wait, this is about Thanksgiving...
Okay, here's picture overload.
We usually always do Thanksgiving at either Market Grill or Main Street Grill
It makes it so much easier for clean up and such
This year was at Main Street Grill
Baby boy sleepin
All the food
I realize we were all wearing the same color shoes
So naturally that required a shoe pic
I don't know why but I love screenshots of him awake or sleeping in his bed
It's too funny when he looks at the camera
Selfie time
We went to lunch at brads with Blake and Madi
and then went shopping at bullochs drug and the other little shops there
Ry had never been down there so I wanted him to see how cute they were
Then we had a shake at the place in bulloch's
I've never had anything from there before, so it was a first for me too!
Had to go check out the new Boulevard while in town
I mean.. what else do you do in Cedar?
You just go check out all the stores.
Jack and Ninna weren't cooperating for my picture
Blake and Madi got their baby this little toy on black friday
and Luca loved it when he sat in it so we went and got him one too
There were still plenty left.. along with everything else (almost) from black friday
Made me realize that there really is no need to go the night before to Walmart
(which I made Ry do this year. He had never been, and I say it's something you have to experience at least once)
Also we went to Joann during the day on Friday and it was essentially a ghost town
Much different than how it is at 6 am in the morning.
I need to remember that next year
The festival of trees was going on
so we thought we would go to that
it changed locations to the new event center
It was cool to see the new event center, but I prefer it at the old location
it was much too cramped here!
And it seemed like not nearly as many trees
Main Street lights are my favorite!
Luca with Santa at the Festival of Trees
His first time showering.. he loved playing in the water!
Jeni's beautiful tree!
Luca tried a pickle at Jeni's house
and as you can see.. he definitely liked it
I imagine it felt good on his gums!
We had such a great time and we were grateful that we were able to go down and spend time with family!
