Luca Ryan -- 10 months

Weight

Well. we haven't had a well check since 9 months so I don't have all the official stats

however, the last time we were in the doctor he was about 18 lbs 5 oz

Diapers

Hughes Size 3

Clothing

No joke.. this kid still can fit into the majority of his 3-6 month clothes

he also has some 6-9 month clothes that he fits into 

and we just bought some summer clothes. I decided to go with 12-18 and some 9-12 months for most of those. 

I just have a feeling he's going to have a growth spurt here pretty soon and I Want him to fit into them for the whole summer. 

Eating

he has become a slightly better eater lately

He is still picky though

Loves meat and potatoes

and meat baby food pouches

his favorites are the turkey with corn and carrots

and the beef one

Prunes are definitely his favorite food.

We've been trying to give him a baba

We've tried a few different kinds of formula

as well as whole milk

he doesn't love any of it

Sleeping

About the same as always! 

Still wakes up through the night to eat

takes a 2 hour nap in the morning and a 1 hour nap in the afternoon

He is the sweetest little should

and truly the happiest baby

He loves to hold his blankie up to his face and pull it down and play peek a boo

This doesn't have to do with Luca, but I loved Britt on the Bachelor's earrings..
Well everything about her if we're being honest
Anyway, one day a package arrived
and Ry had researched and found these earrings like hers and ordered them for me for a surprise
he really is the sweetest little husband around!

 We took a trip down to Vegas to see Miranda Sings

she's a youtube comedian that Ryan loves

so I got him tickets to her show for Christmas. 

We stopped in cedar along the way to see cousins and friends

Then we headed to Vegas.

We ate at Guys burger place and it was delicious!

I had the mac n cheese burger and it was so yummy!

Luca loved being in a hotel room

Something about being in a new place and exploring

and he did great sleeping that night

I was terrified for us to be in the same room

but there was a little separator and it was perfect

The next morning we got up and drove to meet my mom and grandma 

they were going to watch Luca for the day while we went to the show

it worked out perfectly!

This seriously was such a funny show!
We loved it and had a great time even though we were like 2 of the only adults there
aside from the ones that were there accompanying their children.

They took Luca for a little drive while babysitting
I about had a heart attack when they told me

One of the first times we got him to take a baba
after I held him off on nursing until about 4:00
He wouldn't take the baba for me, but when ry got home we tried again and he took it!

He LOVES balloons and kept eyeing these while we were at a bridal shower
so we finally put them on the ground for him to play with

He always goes searching for Ry when he is sleeping in the morning

This made my momma heart so happy!
Luca always wants to play with the kids, but there never are any that are really his age
so he loved when Cope and Rife were there and were just his size..almost!

This winter has been so amazingly warm
We went to the park one day and I put Luca on the swing for the first time
He didn't really know what was happening but he seemed to like it!
He was pretty smiley but also just was in awe the whole time. It was funny!

Ry surprised me on his way home from clinical up at the U with cheesecake
because it was our 2 year anniversary of our first date!
The Cheesecake factory is where we went on our first date :)

Poppa Keith went through something very scary for our family,
and we are so happy that he is here with us!

He hit the table. I was protecting the top wood corner, but he hit the metal edge!
It was pretty sad, but he's a tough kid!

Sometimes he goes through phases where he really plays with his tongue
it seriously cracks me up and it's the cutest thing
so that's what these pictures are trying to capture!

Recently he has been getting onto his belly to look under the couch, table, etc.
It is to cute! How is he big enough to know to get on his belly to look under things?!

Luca really loves to try to get things to fit together
He sat and played for the longest time with these objects just trying to get the lid to go on top of the bottle

He plays with my makeup all the time and I just kept waiting for him to get into something
 well, that day came!
The lid came off my lipstick and it got all over his jimmies and hands!

3 Kids is a lot of work!
We had fun hanging out with our cousins though!

He doesn't love naps when he isn't in his own crib.

Luca had been grumpy and I had noticed that his top teeth had been gettting really big under the gum for awhile now
so I was certain they would be coming down.
So I kept applying orajel to the top teeth
well, after I had been treating the top teeth for a few days this third bottom tooth peeked through!
I felt bad that I had been treating the wrong place of pain
at least he had some tylenol and motrin too!
And don't worry, the top 2 came in the next few days!
